Delaware County Auditor property search
The Auditor site is useful when you need property details, owner-based search results, parcel searches, address searches, or tax history. Start with the Delaware County Auditor Owner Search if you know the owner name.
Owner search accepts last name and first name together, or last name only. Parcel number search allows partial entries and does not require dashes or spaces. Address search uses the house number and street name without street direction or street suffix.
For prior tax payments, search for the parcel through the Auditor site, open the property information screen, and use the Tax tab. The tax history is shown at the bottom of the Tax Detail screen.
Payment options and fees
The Delaware County Treasurer accepts several payment methods for real estate taxes. Online credit card, debit card, eCheck, and digital wallet payments are processed through Point & Pay, which charges the convenience fee.
| Payment method | Accepted type | Fee or instruction |
|---|---|---|
| Credit card | Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express | 2.30% per total transaction; $2.00 minimum transaction required |
| Debit card | Visa | $3.95 flat fee per transaction |
| eCheck | Electronic check | $0.85 flat fee per transaction |
| Phone payment | Point & Pay | Call 1.888.891.6064 |
You may also pay by mail, in person at the Office of the Treasurer, through a drop box at the Hayes Administration Building, or through home banking online bill pay. When using bank bill pay, list the parcel number from the tax bill as the account number or in a memo field.
Monthly escrow and eBill options
The Delaware County Treasurer offers a Monthly Escrow Plan for property owners whose prior year taxes are paid in full. The plan is designed to pre-pay taxes for the next February or July tax collection and is offered free of charge.
Escrow payments may be made by coupons after the contract is approved. Taxpayers who want automatic deductions can complete the ACH portion of the escrow agreement.
The Treasurer also offers eBill service for real estate tax bills by email. Real estate tax bills are mailed between 20 and 30 days before February 10 and July 10 each year, and eBill users are responsible for keeping their email address current.
Tax estimator and Auditor forms
The Auditor’s Tax Estimator can estimate taxes for proposed levies. It asks for a tax district or school district, market value, and whether the property is owner occupied or commercial.
The estimator is for estimation only. It does not include special assessment charges, homestead reductions, or specific tax rate adjustments such as the 20 mill floor guarantee.
For valuation complaints, exemptions, homestead applications, CAUV forms, owner-occupancy reductions, damaged property forms, and related tax forms, use the Delaware County Auditor Forms page.
