This page helps users handle an Orange County, Florida inmate search, including where to look for current jail custody information, charges, bond details, booking photos, and related jail services.
The main public tool is the Orange County Corrections Current Inmate Database, with staff support available through Inmate Records Management when information is unclear.
Orange County Current Inmate Database
The Orange County Current Inmate Database lists people who are currently in jail. It includes charge information, bond amount, and a booking photo. A listing does not mean the person is guilty.
Search by inmate name. The last name is required, and the first name is optional.
- Last name
- First name, if available
Use the database for the most current public custody check before relying on a daily report.
- Enter the person’s last name in the inmate name search.
- Add the first name if you need to narrow the results.
- Review the listed charges, bond amount, and booking photo when a matching record appears.
- Call Inmate Records Management if the listing is unclear or does not match what you expected.
Important: When a person is released from jail, the person no longer appears in the current inmate listings.
Database updates and search limits
The current inmate information is updated every 30 minutes. After information is entered into the Orange County Corrections Inmate Management System, it is updated to the public listing within 30 minutes.
If a person is not listed, Orange County states that the person is not in jail. For questions about information shown in the database, contact Orange County Inmate Records Management.
Daily booking and first appearance information
The Daily Booking List reports inmates booked during a 24-hour period beginning at midnight of the preceding day. For more current custody information, use the inmate search database instead of the daily report.
First Appearance information is updated daily. Most inmates booked on a new offense attend first appearance before a judge unless released on bond before the proceeding. Sessions are held seven days per week, including holidays.

Bond information after an inmate search
The inmate database can be used to verify a bond amount. Orange County lists three ways to post bond: in person at the Booking and Release Center, through a bonding company of your choice, or by Western Union cash transfer using the city code ORLFLJAILCLERK.
In-person bond payments at the Booking and Release Center must be made with a money order, travelers check, or certified/cashier’s check payable to “CLERK OF THE COURTS.” Cash and personal checks are not accepted. All payments require personal identification.
The bond release process can take up to 12 hours. No releases take place during approximate headcount and mealtime periods from 5:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Review bonding out of jail instructions before sending payment or working with a bonding company.
Scam warning: Orange County Corrections states that the jail will not call you to assist with bond payments.
Custody notifications through VINE
VINE is a free statewide service for custody status and criminal case information. It covers county jails and state prisons.
The general public may register online through VINELINK or call toll-free 1-877-846-3435. Registration is optional and anonymous, but it is required if you do not want to repeatedly call the hotline for updates.
Use Orange County VINE information to learn how custody notifications work. Notifications take place within 15 minutes of a record change, and calls continue every 2 hours for 48 hours.
