Portage County Jail and Corrections Division

The Portage County Jail is part of the Portage County Justice Center at 8240 Infirmary Road in Ravenna. It is a 24-hour full-service facility that houses adult male and female prisoners.

The county’s Corrections Division information covers jail-related topics such as bonds, inmate mail, inmate programs, and links for money, phone information, and visitation.

Bonds and court-related information

Bond questions are handled through the Clerk of Courts office. Inmate bonds can be paid at the Clerk of Courts office at the Ravenna Courthouse, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Municipal Court bonds can also be paid at the Portage County Jail after 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, or any time on Saturday and Sunday.
