Locator coverage and limits

The Incarcerated Individual Locator covers incarcerated individuals committed to the custody of the Commissioner of Correction and currently housed at Division of Correction facilities, Patuxent Institution, and some short sentenced offenders at Division of Pretrial and Detention Services facilities.

The locator does not include every person in DPSCS custody. Some short sentenced incarcerated individuals may not appear, and people who are no longer in custody for reasons such as release or escape are not listed.
