Anne Arundel County uses MUNIS self-service for real estate property tax bills, and the Anne Arundel County Office of Finance handles real property tax billing questions.
Real estate property taxes in MUNIS self-service
Use the county’s real estate property tax bill search to find Anne Arundel County property tax bills. The search works with either an address or a parcel ID, but not both at the same time.
- House number and street name, without the street type such as Rd, St, or Ln
- Parcel ID, using the account number from the bill with dashes omitted
After entering one search method, let the search finish before stopping or changing the entry.
- Open the Real Estate screen in MUNIS self-service.
- Enter either the house number and street name or the parcel ID.
- Select the twelve-digit Parcel ID if more than one result appears.
- Review the bills listed under that Parcel ID and choose the bill you want to view or pay.
For a parcel number shown with dashes on a bill, enter only the digits in the MUNIS search field.
Reviewing and paying a property tax bill online
The county’s online instructions explain that a parcel may show multiple bills, typically last year’s bill, the current year’s bill, and next year’s bill. Use the “View Bill” link to examine a bill before paying.
When you choose to pay online, the payment is completed through Paymentus, the county’s third-party payment processor. You will enter payment information, review the payment method, date, amount, and fee information, then authorize the payment before submitting it.
After a successful payment, the system displays a receipt that can be printed for records. A confirmation email is also sent to the email address entered during payment.

Ownership, mailing address, and tax bill details
Property owners can review ownership information through the county property tax system and through the Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation. Use the SDAT Real Property Data Search for Maryland real property records.

Anne Arundel County cannot update the mailing address in the property records. If a mailed bill was not received, the Tax Division can provide a duplicate copy.
