Inmate transfer to IDOC
Male inmates transferred to the Illinois Department of Corrections are sent to Stateville Correctional Center until assigned to another state correctional facility. Female inmates are transferred to Logan Correctional Center.
Inmates transferred to IDOC may complete a postcard naming someone to pick up their property. The designee has 30 days to retrieve the property and must bring the postcard and a photo ID to the Bond Out office.
Funds left on commissary and phone accounts are transferred to IDOC within seven days of departure, although the inmate may not receive the funds until after reaching the assigned correctional facility.
